« Very clean and well appointed campsite. Friendly staff and all the things you are looking for while camping. The onsite restaurant is a bit expensive for what it offers but beyond that I was very satisfied. »

« We found the reception staff at Turiscampo extremely helpful; we dealt with them in order to extend our stay twice and also to print an important document. We would also like to thank the cleaning team as the toilets and showers were always exceptionally clean. We were on pitch 1069 and the new toilet/shower block up at that end of the site was great. Our only slight disappointment was the food in the bar/conservatory. Last year we thoroughly enjoyed the especial burger in particular. This year we had to pay an extra 2 euros to have it with wedges instead of fries and previously the meal had been accompanied with a dip but not this year. Last year we ate in the restaurant at least once a week because the food was tasty and good value but this year we only ate in there twice along with 8 of our friends. »

« Der Platz hat alles was man braucht, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Super finde ich den beheizten Innenpool und auch den Fitnessraum. Sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet sind die Waschräume. Wäsche waschen und trocken ist easy. »

« We have returned 6 times to this area of Portugal for its cliffs and beaches and always chosen Turiscampo because of excellent facilities, great exercise classes from animation team and buffet evenings with music in the restaurant. We have already booked for our 7th stay in 2027. This year, there were fewer classes and no communal walks because of poor weather - which of course is not the fault of the campsite. However, we understand that there is a plan to cover the exercise area and look forward to that new facility being in place next year. We also hope that the restaurant will recommence to have Fardo evenings. »

« Camping amazing, the bali home was not the best, crazy bad beds, leaking drain pipe what kept us awake all night…. But camping has great things, nice people end everything you want! »

« Restaurant kan kwalitatief beter eten leveren. Tijdens ons verblijf 2x in het restaurant gegeten, maar was voor ons zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar. »

« We have had a wonderful time. Only a barking dog from outside the campside was awfull. We were not able to sleep because he was very loud and barking the hole night. »

« Overall experience good although initial interactions with male receptionist on arrival atrocious, felt very unwelcome, we arrived 12miday and told to go away until after 2pm. During our months stay we witnessed very many new arrivals setting up on pitches before 2pm . Comments below re reception staff relate to the female staff members »

We are very sorry that you were unable to access your pitch immediately upon arrival at midday, but we would like to remind you that the check-in time for Premium/Comfort pitches is from 2 pm (the check-in and check-out times are set out in the booking terms and conditions that the customer accepts when making the booking and are mentioned in several of the emails sent subsequently). Please understand that, as your pitch was occupied the night before and the check-out time is midday it would not have been possible for you to enter at midday, when you arrived, even more so because we still needed to clean the sanitary block on the pitch. « We, and especially our kids enjoyed the stay on the campsite very much. The pool is a joy for our kids and the Service as well as the cleanness is wonderful as well. Also, the neighbours have been very calm and friendly. The price for this campsite is good. We can recommend touristcampo! »
